you should get parts from a sponsor on the site. why build a 408 and only run 9lbs? good luck.

Please do some reading regarding the right parts for the build. That rotating assembly is completely wrong for what your looking to do. Start with the stickies in a bunch of sections and then come back and ask questions.

You can't use that rotating assembly. You will need one with 6.125" rods and a 4" stroke. I would not bore it more the 0.005" (4.005" bore) unless it needs it (boost balloons cylinders so thicker is better), but you'll need to know this before you can order the assembly (have the block checked/machined first). (You can have a good machine shop machine and put it together or buying a crate engine is even easier.)

The TVS that you use will be dependent upon the accessories that you are using and port shape. Since it's a LQ4 it probably has truck accessories so you'll need truck pulley spacing. The one you listed is Corvette spacing and LS3 ports. You need to learn a lot before you can move forward with this project so keep reading. Everyone has to start like this.
