Is this cam good for boost? Decent? Suck?

Depends on what your goals are..

But i wouldnt use something that small.... even in a 4.8.

I ran that cam NA and boosted. Very drivable, I would call it decent. But unless you already have it or can get it dirt cheap I'd go with something else. You need less overlap.

It spins up fast, but lets too much boost blow through at mid and upper RPMS. It helps counteract the lack of low rpm boost with a centrifugal blower, but leaves too much on the table at the upper range. Also, not that this may matter, but your mileage will drop.

FYI I'm pulling out a 224/224 113.5 and replacing it with an LS9.

Like you need to buy a better fuel pump... and call someone who knows blower cams.

A 220/220 in that motor... wouldnt fall out of a tree..... and itd be even worse if the motor was a stroker.

I would start.... at 231/243.... bigger cubes.... 239/251.
