Sorry for lack of updates....

Car has been running great! i believe it has around 200 miles on it now. im loving it!

Made a last minute decision to race in an EFI race. Knew i was going to be one of the few slower people there but i had a blast any way. Especially since it was my first few passes with the car.

that was my best pass at 12.1 at 121, obviously the MPH is there, just need a better 60'. 2 step and a shift lift should be here today.

hoping to go back on the 10th of October to race again.

Came along nice! What converter do you have in it? Seems like you need to get up on the converter and get that 2 step working. Doesnt look like its making any boost for the first 100 feet, I bet the power comes in hard!

Went to ORP yesterday expecting to pick up maybe a half second from my 12.1 i did at gateway. Well i went way passed that and pulled off a 10.5 @ 133. completely blew me away that a 2-step and 2 more pounds of boost could pickup so much. I was a little timid to run the full 1/4 as the shutdown there is a little sketchy. I wish i would have had the car running earlier in the year as its almost November now.

But anyway here is the video of the pass. in car and outside.

When i originally built this car i neglected the back half of this car... everything was stock. So now that it has a season or so on it. i thought id spend this winter working on just that.

I am in the process of ordering a Quick Performance 9', getting coilovers in the rears, and doing some tiding up back there.

Also working on getting this stock harness down to what i need. I had unused connectors just tucked away and zip tied. So im going though it to get it down to the bare essentials.

Ill post a bit more when i have some updates.

Coilovers in the rear? Make sure that won't keep you out of any races you might want to do. Nice times BTW.

Ive been thinking about it, but yea. i like the adjustablity all in one package. And it can still run all the classes that are local to me with them.

Defiantly... i didnt think mine would hold up to this... 1.7 60' is pretty good for all stock rear.

I then decided i hated how much wire was left in the engine bay. even after i rewired the engine harness. SO i redid the bay harness. lot more wires....

Beginning of december i ordered a 9 inch from Quick Performance. Came with the housing and axles. Got a great deal. So that is now sitting under the car. Wish the under body of my car was as clean as this new ****...
I also got a TRZ ARB and panhard package. Really nice piece. Takes some unsprung weight out which is nice.

So this is a winter in review post. its gone by way to fast and i need more time and money.
Anyway, I figured id throw up another picture of my rear end. Just need to fill it with a center section and a torque arm and driveshaft. Then it will be road worthy.
98 Camaro 4.8 Turbo build-eri8rso.jpg

I also got a hell of a deal on a new custom cam that i couldnt pass up, so i got a cam specd to my setup. Got rid of the old ls6 cam, so hopefully this thing works wonders.

In the mean time, i got registered for drag week so i got started on a few mods for that.
I cut out my old radiator support and made this removable one that i can take out whenever needed. Which will defiantly help if i need to fix something quick on the road.

But stay tuned for more as race season gets closer!

Hey man, just sat here and read and watched every post you made.

I have a 1998 z28 4l60 car with a polluter v2 cam in a ls1, well i blew the ls1 testing on the road, anyways i picked up a 4.8 short block for 80$ the lift on my cam is a .635" intake and .610" exhaust, planned to put the short block together with that cam and put my buddies 76mm on but we also have a old holset diesel turbo were gonna put on his 4.8 and see where it goes, right now his car has a 76mm setup with 60# injectors and ls2 intake, bone stock 4.8 with 317k and he is running 18lbs at around 12ish timing. runs great but was wondering what you think of my cam, it was in my car when i got it so was just gonna re use it and have it back together and racing again
