where are all the twin turbo 408's??
I'm bored overseas so i am hoping to get some teases from people who have dyno'd and have videos of their 408s with twin turbo set-ups. I have searched and there aren't many results at all fro what i want to know. I prefer results with aftermarket heads (afr, tfs) since i've decided to ditch the 317s and go with the afr 230's. I would like to see some results with 66-72mm turbos but at this point any would do. I'm probably only going to run 20 psi on the 4 bolt style. my block has had the extra bolt tabs welded to them. but i'm scared to rely on them with 25+psi... so i think i'll stick to the 4 bolt. I want to know if the AFR will give similar set-ups enough of a gain to warrant $2500.... Thanks in advance!!

nice, thanks for that link. Pretty clean sleeper there with good numbers. I'm even more homesick because he's from the same area as I am. I'm from Savannah GA 25-30 miles from him.

408 with AFR 225 and twin 66mm. Just got it running and don't have track or dyno numbers yet. Driving on the street with 8 psi on the wastegate springs has been a blast so far. I'll have it out the track (with a new stall converter) soon.

all 3 of these cars are just nasty... i think i yelled out loud on each video. had to stop watching these vertical power curves. I can only hope I make it to that level. i'd love to push the 1200hp limits if my afr's will stay down.
quik01ss..... you were supposed to have my back man.. lol i'm trying to stick out the twins

the twin 66 & 67/65 seems to always satisfy the users. I was being greedy when i went with the 70mms on an 81 A/R. I hope it doesn't make a pig out of the car. i have a rather large cam compared to some of these mega power cars around here. hope it works well in my favor.

Engine is 408ci based off of a 6.0 iron block (LQ4), patriot heads, LS6 intake, stock throttle body. Cam is 234/234 @.050 113lsa
Turbo system consists of truck manifolds, precision PT67 P-trim turbos, Tial 38mm wastegates and 50mm BOV. Dual 3in downpipes "Y'd" into single 4 inch which is all stainless now. 4" flow through stainless bullet muffler and the Turbos are the only thing that keeps the car quiet. I still get comments on how quiet the car is at the track. Hot side is ceramic coated, cold side is powdercoated.
Tuning was done with HP Tuners 3-bar Custom OS. Fuel system is dual external walbros and 160lb high impedence injectors.
Let me know if you need any more information LT1TA. Thank you for your service and thank your parents for me. Like I said in the PM my Son was there as an Army Medic during the Iraq war for 2 tours running protection for convoy's.
