Turbo advice needed
I have a 98 Camaro with an LS2 402ci forged motor and currently a GT-67 STS rear mount turbo.
This turbo (as best we can tell) is choking my motor at around:
3,900 rpm for tq (500ish lb/ft at 3,900rpm)
5,000 rpm for hp (400ish hp at 4k-redline...flat)
We've dialed up fuel, spark, etc and very little change. I am running stock LS1 manfolds, y-pipe merging into a 3" exhaust leading to the STS GT-67 turbo.
What turbo would you guys recommend for this build?
I don't want anything sluggish, but my goals are for around 620=650 rwhp.
In addition to the "mm' turbo, what AR would you recommend for a big cube rear mount like mine?

I would go with a billet wheel 76mm if 625-650 are your goals but even a 76 is on the small side for a 402. Im not real familiar with rear mount setups though. Id stick with a .96 a/r though to keep it quick spooling.
Or you could flip those manifolds around and put that motor to work with an 88mm+.

Thx for chiming in....we finally got the car to run to redline with some other problems (1 or 2 cylinders not firing properly).
We laid down 512hp and 588lb/ft torque with 10 lbs boost.
I am currently away from home and after seeing a number of people recommend Forcedinductions.com....i decided to give them a holler, and have come to a similar conclusion.
I'll keep everyone posted who's interested in this build.

I have a precision billet 76mm in a .96 ar I may be willing to sell. I am trying to determin if I can fit an 80 or 88mm turbo in my current manifold location. My car made 644hp and 685tq at 11psi on my 402.
