Default L33 block strength

How have the l33 blocks been holding up to high hp?

Found one by me wanted a lm7 but found a l33 for a good price


Looking to do a 80+mm turbo stock motor with basic head studs, gaskets etc...

i believe its the strongest one available but i could be wrong. i just picked one up

The sleeves are still very thick in the L33, I wouldn't worry a bit. Again, like anything else, most of it's durability will rely on the tuning.

Very thick sleeves and small bore=win.

Mines around 800rwhp with plans for 900-950rw next spring.

the LS2 aluminum block is the strongest available unless you got o iron or after market
