Default oil feed and return line size

what size line should i use for oil feed and return and where would i find it at like a hardware store or do i have to order it

I am pretty cheap and used a 1/4 inch fuel injection hose for the oil feed and a 5/8 power steering hose for the return. Slapped on some worm clamps and called it a day. Both of which are easy to find at your local parts store.

You can use approved braided line, but why wait if you don't have to...

Most people use -3 or -4 stainless braided line with AN fittings for the feed, and -10 for the drain. But as mentioned you could also make it from pieces from the hardware store and auto supply. Make sure whatever feed hose you get it rated for pressure, ie not vacuum line.
