I haven't heard of any bad results not saying that this is a great kit i've never seen it but i haven't heard anything bad about them at all I think only a couple of people have the kits and they seem to like it.

I've been following this kit for a while and I never heard anyone say anything bad about it... maybe because they just dumped 3 grand into crap and they won't admit it. It seems like a good kit price wise... better than 7grand for the QMP... but of course that one is just flat out sexy

How can 412/451 @5psi with only a throttle body and ls6 springs be bad. The kit is much less expensive, alot easier to put on, and works great. There are people that have gotten over 500rwhp with no mods at 8psi.The truck kit for the 5.3 takes 3.5 seconds off 0-60. Just look at the article on last months Sport Truck.

I was on a road trip last month and when i was passing through Dumas TX, a red Silverado SS pulled up beside me and spun his tires. I could've sworn i heard a turbo spool and when i looked over it had an "STS" badge right below the SS logo. Anyone know who's this is or got any info on it?

dont know who that is. There is a shop is Lubbock that sells STS. Is Dumas around there?
The basic kit on a 5.3 puts down about 350 to the ground.

Dumas is a ways north of lubbock. Come to think of it, it might not have been in Dumas, but it was some small town north of Lubbock on I-27. That's probably the shop he got it at though.

i like the concept of the kit though since air expands as it gets colder so it would spool faster. also no mess in the engine bay from all the turbo stuff. when will it hit full boost on a stock car? i have headers, ls6 intake, and soon to have a beefier rear end

That is 2psi and his first time at the track with the kit. With his 8psi and meth he should be above 500rwhp and drive bone stock until he gets on it.

The air expands as it gets hotter, not colder. Cold air is more dense. The heat energy will make a turbo spool faster, but you still have the same mass. All the exhaust is still going through the same small hole. Plus, the exhaust is cooler, making the turbo cooler, sucking cooler air in the rear, charge pipe is exposed to ambient air, making the kit pretty efficient. There are trade offs with everything, but as I said, the kits are much less expensive and easier to install, and they work great..
P.M. for a good deal on the STS kit.

YOUR03COBRA8ME, do you have the sts kit and flp headers both? Did that cause any problems with installation?
