Took my buddy's Trans Am to the track a few weekends ago. We were traction limited and couldn't leave on any boost. Setup is pretty simple, gen 3 5.3, ls6 cam, 243 heads, ls6 intake, On3 non-ac kit, On3 76mm, 4l80e, yank 3600, street tuned by me. It ran a 12.1 at 126 with a 2.3 60ft. This was on 9lbs and 17 degrees of timing. Car weighs 3740 lbs with driver.

There is a lot left in that car with a 2.3 60, thanks for posting that up. That will be a low 11 second car

cool keep us informed and post up a few photos as you make headway if you dont mind. I only have Camaro photos to show and get a lot of questions on the Trans-am cars and customers asking why I dont have more photos of them.

It just happens that we have a Camaro here that we did the design work on and just haven't had any Trans-am installs here to this point that I have done personally

Thats great, thanks for posting up those videos. That will really help out a few of our Trans-am customers as I just dont have the photos on hand to share.

Justinkp, have you ran the car at the track on the 765 hp setup?

On 3, I installed a turbo kit for a friend in his 4.6L mustang years back and remember telling myself if these ever come out for the f body I'm jumping on it. Well the time is coming soon for me to jump on this kit. Only problem is I have already done motor work to the car and installed a TSP 228R cam w/ 112 LSA. I am thinking about putting a set of 317 heads on with my 228R my cam and running the ac'less system. Any idea's, seen it done before?

I wish I had better feedback for you but honestly most customers dont give us the full run down of the build. Some follow up but most we dont even hear back from once they get the car built. Hopefully someone will chime in for you and have a better answer

I own the T/A in the video. At the price you can't beat this kit. There are a couple things here and there when installing the kit to work and get to fit nice. I also have the On3 cat-back exhaust and it was not to much of a pain to weld up. Sounds pretty good too. I have had the kit on the car for 6k ish miles now and have not had any issues except the oil scavenger pump. Fixed that with pulling the pan and now the oil drains there. Don't have to worry about it anymore. All in all I would buy another kit for a F-Body,Corvette,silverado, or foxbody lsx swap.

I did not ever run my car with the 765hp. The motor had some issues. I dont know if the turbine is too small causing too much back pressure, which resulted in bearing failure (or crank flex) or it overboosted due to the wastegate being hooked up incorrectly, or my bearings too tight. I have no idea. I know the turbo is still good but the scavenger pump took a dump.

But the car is now making about 600hp on 10lbs, super safe. Just enjoying it for the time being. I don't get on much, sorry about the delayed response.

Evil - Great build thread.
Received most of the kit - looks like a very well thought out system - I just need my hot side piping to continue mock up / install

Well I have a z06 here on the lift and Ill be releasing a system this year for you guys. This is really the first shots Ive released of what I have going on right now. Its completely mocked up at this point. Working a few last minute details on the kit and hopefully do some dyno testing before too long:

Its not uncommon for fedex to not get all boxes there the same day. Happens to a customer a week Id guess. Should have everything though, let us know if not and Ill dig into it for you. Also you can track from the number on the package you already have

A lot of people have shown interest in our On 3 t4 flanged mid frame 88mm turbochargers. We sold out fairly quick on the first shipment and now have a small amount back in stock. Anyone interested let us know, we can ship same day while the inventory lasts. Retail is $849 shipped, anyone that orders mention this thread and we will offer it for a short time at $775 shipped

Just because I know it has been asked, the A/C kit works fine with the PA K-member. Just got my hot-side routed tonight just to check. Did think I was screwed for a second when I tried feeding the second half of the down-pipe from the back instead of the front. For whatever reason it made the difference.

In the next day or two will post up a build thread. All and all really nice kit, especially at the price.

If the C6 kit is easily adaptable to a C5 my brother may have to jump on board and snag one.

So I just read about your loudmouth style catback that you offer. I like the price but am curious about the merge at the rear. It necks down to 2.5" at that merge, will this be a flow restriction for higher hp cars? Also, how do the tips finish? I see that no tips come with the setup so if I wanted to run some corsa clone tips would this need to be cut shorter?
