Default Procharger Rebuild

Has anyone had their blower rebuilt by Procharger? I'm getting ready to send mine out, I think a bearing took a **** and it locked up. Just trying to get some kind of idea at what I'm looking at financially

I think a rebuild of seals and bearings is like $400-$500, which are the typical wear items. Oviously if you need more done, then it will cost more.

I'm about 3/4 the way done rebuilding mine if you send it to them they will recommend replacing all the bearings and it's going to be expensive. I replaced 2 bearings and both seals.

I heard it gets very expensive when you send it back to procharger and they won't sell you the parts.

Little update had to order a new outputshaft seal again :-( it rolled up on me when pressing in the output shaft. Got some shim stock and going to try it again. Even with my screw up in still way cheaper than sending it in. That being said you have to be very patient and have all the proper tools to do it yourself. I'm glad I attempted this but if I was filthy rich I would just send it to procharger. You can purchase all the parts at superchargerrebuilds.com

I was going to attempt an impeller replacement on a used blower I bought but I would have had $600-700 invested and if the housing clearance wasn't right it could have been junk the first time it spun up
Gotta remember these things spin over 50000 rpm

50,000 rpm is just the beginning, the D1SC has a max rpm of 62,500.
