Default What fans for procharger?

What fans do I need to keep the car cool with a procharger? I've heard the procharger fan doesn't work that well? I seen people replace the procharger fan with a spale fan? And than another little fan? What are you guys running?

I think pullers work better than pushers. From everything I've read, people with pushers end up having heat issues.

huh looks like alot more trouble with heat with prochargers than I thought there was... I was hoping one big 16" spale fan would do the trick. I'm thinking the best way now is to do a 16" spal on the inside as a puller and put a pusher on the other side on the driver side of the radiator

I never have problems with mine just buy the two pullers. I don't think pusher puller fan setups are a good idea. When I just had one fan it only got hot when it was 100+ outside and I was blasting the ac.

FYI, I have the single procharger fan, and my car does not get hot, even with the a/c on in the summer and stop and go traffic. I never saw temps over 200-205 degrees, which is fine considering I have a stock thermostat in the car.

I'm going off of actual logged data, not the dashboard gauge.

I think I'm just gona make my own shroud and use two of the spal fans. Put the small one above the procharger so it won't hit. My procharger setup wouldn't fit with the F1A.

Are the spal fans pretty low profile?

to double check, when using these spal fans the factory connectors plug directly into them?
