Default Flipped C6 Manifold for Driver Side???

I just picked up a set of C6 manifolds from a forum member for my turbo kit. Now I know everyone uses the a flipped C6 manifold on the passenger side and a flipped truck manifold on the driver side. My question is, anyone ever use a flipped C6 manifold on the driver side also?

You mean backwards?

And if it will work for pipe routing than it will work. I know on 04-06 gto they clear the ac and the low mounted alternator on both sides. The engine bay is way way tighter than a f-body

yes they do work, ive built a few......it does although require use of a bmr-midwest or some sort of k member. this does not work with stock k member unless you run under the k member....i would not advise that

Ive got mine barley bolted up right now... i tried it backwards and if i remember right the steering shaft interferes. And with my bmr turbo k, the flange hits the motor mount stand when the manifolds are put on the normal direction. Ill take some pictures after work

Easier to run it in normal orientation and flip the pipe forward. Otherwise it does hit as he mentioned.

With normal orientation has anyone had an issue with the flange hitting the kmember or motormount stand?

Not a problem if you grind off the flange and vband it. See my build thread in sig for example of this. That is my drivers side with a drivers side c6 Mani vbanded for both fitment and ease of install/removal. Will handily outflow truck manifolds.

Was able to trim around stud hole on manifold and cut an L out of the same side of flange that bolts to it and it all cleared. Thats with running them normal orientation. Was easy with my new plasma cutter too... when i do turbo setup however im going to cut bolt ears off and weld vband onto it...
