Default do I need to run a thermostat?

I have a 408 lq9 based procharged engine that will put down 850-900 rwhp or so and I bought an AFCO dual core radiator and electric water pump and fan setup for it. the kit has no provisions for a thermostat and I was wondering if I need one?

No stat with my turbo 408. But made a restrictor plate so it doesn't move thru the radiator too fast

I ran it without and no issues. Now I run a 160 and my car settles about 169. The only reason I put one in is because if not it just takes too damn long to warm the car up. With E85 I try to get the car nice and hot around 200 degrees for a few minutes before I drive it every day and then once driving it settles. I have a catch can and run E85. In the whole year of this car not once have I had any condensation in my catch can whatsoever and none on my dipstick. My 02 cents

Super cool. Cruising on the highway if its under 80 degrees outside the temp would run 160-170. But summer time driving around town and its over 100 outside it runs like 205 which isn't too bad. I need better fans tho and it will run cooler at low speeds

i run a meziere electric water pump with a 170 degree thermostat, merzier do a billet thermostat holder that you put in the top radiator hose.

I ran my car without a tstat for 6 months or so. In the winter it will never warm up 140degish. In the warmer weather it would stay around 180-190 but once you made a few good boost pulls and get the motor hot it would go up to 220ish and never cool off. Coolant was moving way to fast through the cooling system to dissapate any heat. With a thermostat in it in summer temps it stays at a consistent 190ish
