Heintz Racing resets IRS GTO Record @ 8.74! Plus a few other great runs.
Travis Wester reset the IRS GTO record this weekend in his F1R Procharged GTO. We could not be happier for him. We are fighting a bit of belt slip still, so we should be able to pick up a few more numbers.
Here is a pic of the timeslip. Unfortunately we did not get any video of the run, but did get a run of the next when it spun on the hit, but still went 8.91
427 cuin
MAST Heads
F1R
4L80E by RPM Transmissions
Hendrix 8.8 Rearend Kit
295 MT Drag Radial
In the midst of everyone running this weekend, we set a new PB for DDixon in his GTO also. The runs were made on pump gas 93 octane. The car weighs 4050 pounds with Don inside. This thing is completely full weight minus the spare tire and the back seat (has a rear seat delete) The added weight is from the cage, Procharger Kit, 9 Inch, Intercooler, etc.
LS 402 ci
TFS 235s
F1A Procharger
4L65E Level 7 from RPM Transmissions
DSS IRS 9 Inch Kit with Axles and Driveshaft
26x10 Slicks
1.41 60'
3.944 330'
6.076 1/8 mile
115.60 MPH
9.464 1/4 mile
144.50 MPH
Heres a video a customer of ours put together of the run with a picture of the slip..
Congrats again Don!
Also, I got to run my old car that I had previously sold, here is a video of that run that one of our customers put together.
Stock LS1 Block & Crank 347 ci
Stock Ported Heads
Stock Ported Intake
LS9 Gaskets
BW S400SX3 75mm 1.10 AR
TH400
Fab 9
E85 NON Intercooled
MT275 Radial Pro
Enjoy everyone!

Thank you Zach. It was an incredible weekend. I was so glad that everyone ran so well and that we all got to be there together. Congrats to everyone on their new PB's and to Heintz Racing. I can't wait for the East Coast Shootout so we can do it all again!

Yeah, she gets a little hot, its been running that way on the same engine build for the last 2 years though. The E85 does its work for sure.
Thanks man-

Sucks on the speeding ticket man, glad you got the headers sold though since you could not use them. Those All Pros should be bad ***.
