Going from a 6.0 s475 with a 238/242 113 to a 5.3 s475 and I have two cams to pick ls6 or 232/234 112. What's you choice

i know this has nothing to do with the original question but why are you going down in displacement?

It is a 96 hotside. The 6.0 is getting built over the winter and I dont want the car to be down that long

Be interesting to see how that much overlap works with the smaller motor with the 96/1.32 hotside....

Anybody know how many degrees a tooth is worth on the LS timing set?

Install it on a 107-108 intake centerline and let it eat.

Hell 105-106 if itll clear on the piston to valve.

8degs per tooth on cam gear and 16 per crank gear,
45 teeth on the cam gear
