Default 11.5 compression and boost-why not!

2010 C6 Z06 off the dyno. Car has A&A V3 Si trim, some shiny new Pfadt headers and a Alky Control Meth kit.

The gains are impressive to say the least-especially for 7.5lbs of boost.

Well....on pump gas I would say your nuts. lol. That is pretty brave in my book. However, I was contemplating next year to throw a 5.3 together but use the 4.8 flat top pistons. That would give 11.5 compression if my numbers are correct. I would run pump gas E85 AND METH/WATER INJECTION also.

Pretty sick numbers though! It has to be on the ragged edge though on pump gas. That is some serious coin if she blows.

What fuel? I'm leaning more and more towards upping compression.

It would make almost 700 with a larger primary. How does the V3 compare to a procharger?

Default My $0.02...

OP -

I've heard the "You're Nuts!" comment several times here as well.

I ran with the stock CR (10.4) and 11 lbs of boost on my LT1 for 40,000 miles with zero issues - of course I did also use a LOT of meth to keep everything bolted together. However, when I turned up the manual boost controller to 13 lbs, that's when things started to go pear-shaped!

Have fun - good luck - Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Good job Arun. No reason not too. LOL Only problem is the LS7 block liner cracking. Seen that a few times in the past.
