what RPM stall are you guys running on your 4.8/5.3 setups?

ill be building my 4L65 soon, and will be getting a triple disc converter, currently running a single disc 3500 stall, which sucks on the foot brake

I've got a 3800 in my 67, have yet to run it, but it's a 400 also, so I wouldn't be able to compare it to your 65E.

3200ish. I have megasquirt and launch control so I have the ability to pull timing and set a 2 step with a button so I can build 10-12ish psi at 2600-2800 rpms. But yea, before I figured that out, the thing left like a mutt.

I have my 2-step launch set to 4700 and it flashes to 5800.

I need the rpm for it to leave hard

My concern with such a high stall is obviously streetability. I'll use a lower stall plus nitrous if I have to vs a high *** stall. lol Would imagine it'd have to be much higher for a tall geared, tall tired heavy machine.
