Default Victor JR setup??

I am starting to buy the parts to complete my turbo build. I need to know what elbow and throttle body I should run with the victor jr intake manifold. I need some intake opinions please. Should I even run a Vic Jr.?? Is there better intake setups to run for this? Also the build consist of 408"ci 9:1 compression ratio, stock 317 heads, KYTP hotside and S488 turbocharger. I haven't pick up any other parts yet. I also do not want to cut the cowl all up if I do not have to. Thanks for the help in advance guys.

Where is the best price on the aarons. I like the look of that over the edelbrock. The edelbrock is about 200 bucks cheaper from what I find online.

Does anyone one know if the edelbrock flows as well as the aarons or vis-versa?

Thanks for the help.

What elbow are you guys running that have a sunoco style hood and don't need to worry about clearance? I don't mind notching the cowl a little but I don't want to hack the **** out of it either.

I bought my 6061 elbow directly from Aaron's website. Only thing I was told about the Vic jr/elbow combo is you want the airflow downward as poss before the manifold so I have a 2" spacer on mine.

I'm assuming your not using the super victor intake because of Clearance, but I would think with your combo it would be a good choice at least from my research and talking to other guys.

I like this, looks good.

I was talking with a cylinder head guy this last week. His only complaint was the difference in flow between the middle 2 runners and the outter 2. 40cfm difference. This is just what i have been told, i do not have facts to back it up.

I am searching for a budget minded intake option for my build as well right now. Vic jr seems to be the best option for affordability and fit. I hear the Holley hi ram is better but the cowl has to be notched to fit.

i heard the vic jr isnt a good idea to run because of flow to each cylinder is different or something? Any info on this? Im also looking at intake options... I was gonna run the LS6, but wouldnt mind having something like this more so for the look.

Dumbest **** I've ever heard. The main issue with Vic jr is the available elbows suck when you try to stuff them under a stock hood

One of the guys on here has made over 1k rwhp with an edelbrock pro flow but as for clearance you will cut the **** out of an f body cowl. The guy I'm talking about has a nova so that doesn't matter to him.
