It's been a while sense I have updated anyone. I dropped the engine and the hard parts of with the machine shop last week. He is still 2 1/2 weeks out but I thought get it there and maybe he can get t it earlier? The one thing I didn't get for it was arp main studs. What's everyone's take on this, should I order a set and take them out to him or will I be fine with the stockers?

I forgot about keeping up with the thread. I have been pretty busy at work and home. I have a bunch of photos I will try and get posted up today some time. The car is complete and running great! I dialed it in on 8lbs so far. The car screams on a wimpy 8lb tune. So I am really happy and really excited to turn it up when I get time. I have a vid or two of it also I will post up with the car running. I should also have some dyno and driving vids soon. I will be getting some weekends off soon.

I want to see those videos. If it's that strong on 8lbs of boost, imagine what it will be like once you turn it up.

Thats what I was thinking! Here are a couple pictures of the engine going together. I will try and get the video of it running tonight. Hopefully if its nice out this weekend I will get some pulls on video.

I am sorry that I have not been on here in a long time. I have been so busy with work and life. I was able to get the car out and break it in. I took it up to the dyno to play a little. We dialed in the fueling and we were ready to start bumping the timing up but the car would just fight the dyno. I think the tires were growing and conflicting the dyno rollers. Because the car would only rev to about 5600-5700 RPM's. The car lights up to 6800 instantly on the street. So I might have to find some radial tires to slap on an try again. The car was set at about 10-11 psi and I am running 12 degrees of timing in this video. I didnt turn the car up because of what was happening on the dyno as far as rpm's. But it made 636.2RWHP and 712TQ on soft tune up and 10-11LBS with full exhaust. Should make big power once I lay into it. Here is a little Video of it along with the graph.

Well because the winters are so long here and I believe to have a case of ADD. I did some changes to the camaro. I thought I would update the thread. For some reason I really wanted to try a different turbo. not there was anything wrong with the PT88 but I am a character of change. So here is a list of the changes made to the car over the winter.

New custom SS hot side
New 4 inch exhaust
New JGS 60mm Gate
New T6 S476R Billet turbo
Burkhart chassis front bumper support
Burkhart chassis radiator and water pump setup
Burkhart chassis manual rack

I will post some pictures of all the excitement along the way for your enjoyment.
The car is ready for the dyno. Just waiting for weather to stop raining around here and its off to the dyno. I will be posting results up. I did however play around with trans brake tuning in the shop. It hits 13lbs damn fast! I think I am going to be surprised and happy with results. Just to share with you on the Burkhart radiator setup. This thing is bad ***! Just for fun I had it running and I shut the fan off and let it get up to 205. Then turned fan on and in under a minute it had dropped the temp to 149 that is with the car sitting on hoist! I was blown away.

Pretty much how she sits now. Time to go and tune it and see what she has in her.
