Question Add procharger to my H+C+I car?

Im just poking around at the idea of throwing on a procharger with low boost. Maybe 5lbs or so? Im wondering what everyones thoughts would be about this and if it would be an alright setup with current mods?

Mods are...
Tea stage 2 ls6 heads 62cc
Comp cam 228/232 112lsa
Fast 92mm
SS 3600
3.73
Boltons

What do ya say?

Just have the correct fuel supply and a good tune and it will be fine.

Sell the fast and that would pay for a big chunk of it. Than i'd say it would be worth it

I'd shoot for 7 psi with your heads and cam. 5 psi is going to seem like you spent a lot of money and didn't get much back in return. At 5 psi you won't feel the added power until fairly high in the power band. 7 psi would bring in the power much sooner. I'd also add methanol injection to it, which will help to keep the pistons together since you have both heads and a cam. I'd also swap out your converter to a triple disc spec'd out for forced induction, as you might find you're driving through your converter, which can end up trashing it and your transmission.
Check out my complete D-1SC kit, the only extra items needed are spark plugs and a tune. http://shop.brutespeed.com/ATI-1GJ20...-Speed-Kit.htm Bob

I agree with Bob. I would deff go with a methanol kit as your compression is a little higher then what is optimal. 7psi should be a safe bet and should put you into the lower 500's somewhere.

The whole reason for me saying only 5lbs is because theres 115k on the car and want it to last a while. I just dont want to get greedy and over due it ya know? When the motor goes ill still have the procharger. Then I can boost the day lights out of the new motor. So 7lbs wouldnt be pushing it to much with the setup I already have?

Im not changing the stall. Just about everything on the car will be staying the way it is except fuel system, of course meth kit, and might swap the fast 92 back to a ls6 intake.

Im not looking for massive power right now. Just an additional 100rwhp would put the car at 529rwhp and that would be fine with me
