Default Fuel system for twin turbo APS kit

Hey guys,

It's now time for me to take this APS kit out of the box and build my car. I have been saving money for the past 3 years, and have everything planned out except the fuel system. My question is, is there a better fuel system on the market than the Lonnie's system? Not only will this system have to support 1k rwhp but it will also have to be dependable enough to make several trips from Dallas to LA (the boot) that's about a 5 hour drive. Understand that this car will normally drive around with the lowest boost setting, however the fuel system will need to be able to support the power when it's on kill.

Guys any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I think the lonnies system is the best choice for you , i went with it and it's working very will for me .
It has a hobs switch and that mean if your engine is not boosting the fuel system will run a single fuel pump and if it's under boost the second pump will start pumping and that is perfect for you because it will keep away the heat coming from tow pumps running at the same time.
Add on that the quality and the perfect finish and very helpfull support from lonnie.

I tapped the stock tank and put a magnafuel 4303 on it.
So far so good.

Thanks for the feedback... Do you have any of the fuel smells inside the cabin? I read that was an issue with Lonnie's system.

Personally I would do triple 255s in case you want to go further in the future. If you search you can find a write-up that MightMouse did. Simple and effective.

That was on a 98 though I dont think triples will work on a 99-02 bucket. I have lonnies system but I upgraded from the 255s to twin 340s im hoping the twin 340s and 120s will get me close to 1k on e85 and a aps/lg kit.

So did you replace the 255s with the 340s or did Lonnie's make the change for you?

So would it be cheaper to upgrade to the 340 pumps in the dual setup or go with the three pump setup? I think the three pump setup is $2100... I want to spend money once and be done with it but I don't want overkill on a car that will be driven on the street 95%+ of the time. He'll its a 6 speed car so not going to set any track records however on the highway I want this mf to be a monster.

Any way u set it up unless u wire it without the hobbs only one pump will be on until u get into boost then ur second will kick on. This is the most street friendly setup I think thats out there. Like I said im looking to make close to 1k on twin 340s and thats on e85 if your using pump gas there would be no problem making over 1k on this setup which is stupid power for a street car. Are you looking at the nasty stage 3 kit with it? If you think you would need more then get the pro touring setup from nasty nate.

How much was it to upgrade to the 340s? Do you have any more pics of the system install?

4303 pump fan here.

Ultimately you could build a fuel system however you want...all you gotta figure out is if you wanna sump/tap the tank.. you could run your existing fuel system for daily..then a hobbs for 2-4psi of boost for your external and T them together...and into a filter, into the regulator,...then into the rails.

Buy your fuel system once, even if it's over kill. You waited this long,..saved this long, buy a nice setup. You could never go wrong with fuel delivery overkill.

im going with the 4303 external pump and a sump. i think i figured it would be right around $1150 for, pump, sump, filter, lines, fittings, and FPR. thats $450 cheaper than the lonnies setup....

thought about using this sump. made for diesel trucks, but it looks like itd work perfectly. throw on a -10 or 12 fitting into it.

I think I'm going to go with either double or even triple 340s in the Lonnie's kit. The only reason I'm considering triple is bc I may end up running e85.
