I had heard 1/2"... So when it turned out to be <1" I was a little surprised. But its no big deal, I have it taken care of now.

Got the intake on completely, just need to increase the clearance, for any engine movemnet, and find a way to seal it.

Here is the new blade I bought (AMAZING)

The carnage from the new blade, SO MUCH FASTER

I hate to be that dick to bring it up, but man I'd be worried about a random rock cracking your masterpiece. I see to have bad luck with windshields though...

Not too worried. Of course that could happen. I'm going to start saving for a Percy's Lexan Front Windshield.

Guess who cut their hood.

Im not done yet, I still have to trim for my throttle body, and do some finish work.

The intake will be sanded smooth and powdercoated gunmetal to match everything else on the car.

All my hotside tubing is piling up in the garage. I guess its time to order a turbo...

Right now I'm planning on a S475 T6 1.10 83mm turbine

Any thoughts?

I don't know if anybody is looking at this still. but I have pretty much everything I need for my hotside/coldside/exhaust.

Just need to order a turbo, so I can get to work...

Yep. I dont see any reason those two things would effect it being a DD...

Well I've been slaving away on my wiring harnesses. I relocated the chassis harness/fuse boxes (again), this time they are in the wiper cowl area, looks real good and will let my simplify all the damn wiring that is run all the way to the nose and back. Also, I am doing my best to organize all the damn afterrmarket gauges/shift light/two step/LL/etc

Continuing on the track of a build far too radical for a daily driven car... the car is getting "front quartered"... I just didn't like any of the option to deal with the cutout upper crossmember, I think this plan will allow me to keep a fluid engine bay. So, everything in front of the k-member/strut towers is be trimmed off... and replaced by new-ness.

Ordering steel tonight, turbo is on the way... I should have some serious fab work going on all next week.

Thank you. Yes, I have some serious ADD/OCD.

The tough part is going to be "finishing" it so that it doesn't look so "racecar" and more just like a CLEAN engine bay.
