I ran into a little snag with the KMJ head studs.. I pulled a 5.3 from a 2000 tahoe with 862 heads and also have a spare 4.8 I was gonna stick in my notchback first and its also headed with 862's but i was unsure of the year.. well I ordered the KMJ2465's that say from 97-03 and there the long ones and I actually need the kmj2464's thing is I know the 2000 is a 2000... so why these studs are wrong is beyond me.. I shoulda known when i questioned myself what the other 4 different studs were for... SMH

I need all shorts

The 2465 kit has 10 longs and 4 shorts

The 2464 has 10 shorts..

but on a good note I did get these parts in or ordered this week

AJE K member
AJE LS mounts
AJE spring perchs
Summit aluminum radiator
Microsquirt
Gt45 Turbo
Oil feed plate

So with some 80lb injectors and a wastegate I should be pretty close to running.. well after the stupid studs get swapped or re-purchased if I have to.. :/

What fuel rails are best to run? I have the 98 tank in my 92 thirdgen with dual walbros from sho me speed and 80# injectors. I cant decide if i should try and hook up the corvette filter with the regulator or buy a boost reference regulator, fuel rails and run all new -8 for feed and -6 for return.

i use stock truck rails, and regulator, they work amazing, if you cant get em or fit em, the ebay 70-100 dollar rails worked great in my fairmont, and i used an aeromotive regulator off summit the 130 dollar one

anybody found any cheap fuel line kits for fox body mustangs with LS swaps? I've got 2 motors to play with and one is LS1 intake returnless and the other is a truck intake with return so I'ld like to have the lines there to run either.. also the twin pump setup thats posted by Texhotrod593.. will that drop in to my Fox stock tank?

i would say the GT45 from VSracing will cover nearly anyone asking this question.

it will do 650whp without question on any 4.8/5.3/6.0 lsx engine.

if that isnt enough you need to ask yourself, how much power do i want to make, and then contact one of the turbo sponsors or something and get a turbo that is capable.

but VSracing also sells a "denmah" race package i **** you not haha

its all of my most commonly bought turbo car stuff, gt45 turbo, wastegate intercooler, piping couplers, clamps and more

I just sent VSracing an email in hopes for the Denmah Race Package. I'll keep you guys informed on how it goes. I'm shooting for everything but the turbo.

i like the factory 6.0 flex plate and spacer.

if you have a 3 bolt th400 style converter it should bolt up to the stock holes, 3/6 of them

if you are buying a converter from circle D they can do the 6bolt 80e pattern on the converter and th400 input shaft splines.

other than that i have heard of people using the hughs spacer without issue.

i think you can also buy a swap, SFI approved flex plate, not sure on that though we have always used the stock junkyard 6.0 flex and spacer. with the longer bolts, and that works great.
