Better get an aluminum slug to reinforce the cover. The turbo wheel will suck in the thin walls, I have done it.

In all honesty for a rear mount application, one of these larger BW units will be difficult to package in the rear of a C5 due to the physical size. I think a pair of twins would be much better suited out back there!

It depends on the turbine wheel used.

I like to use the 92mm turbine wheels on just about everything other than a 4.8. I'll then size the AR housing accordingly to the cubic inches of the motor to achieve the spool time I need.

Example:

5.3= S475, 87mm or 92mm turbine wheel 1.0 AR housing
5.7= S475, 92mm turbine wheel 1.10 AR housing
6.0/6.2= S475 92mm turbine wheel 1.10 or 1.25 housing depending on other characteristics of the build i.e. is it a M6, A4...will it be mainly street driven or raced etc.

Interesting, I would have thought the 92mm turbine would be considered small for a 6.0/6.2. I have a billet 83 W/92mm LDP wheel on my 390 it works well @800rwhp but thought a larger exhaust turbine might work better.
