Default Valve Springs

I am gonna be running a lq4 with 317 heads. I have a gt4788 and plan to run about 20lbs of boost but not sure which valve springs to run. Any suggestions? thanks.

I have a set of Brian Tooley racing springs. Very nice pieces especially for the money. I have also seen others use the PSI' with good luck. I think Nate here uses a type of Lunati that he has good luck with. Do a search. Then ask further questions. Not PSI' but PAC's. Sorry about that.

Depending on cam ramp speed and valve weight, the Platinum springs work great. With something like the Comp HUC or Extreme RPM lobes and stock valves my springs are good to 26+ lbs of boost.

Here's a video of the Platinum springs in action, turning 7300 rpm through the traps with 20 lbs of boost with Comp HUC lobes, right after he won the Holley LS Fest True Street class. Enjoy!

Ive used the Lunati but Tooley has quality parts at reasonable prices and if you have a question or an issue you pick up the phone and he answers.

Just got mine from Brian this week-almost went with the PAC 1218's but for $70 more why take the chance and buy the best spring the first time.

I read it somewhere, may have been here, Buy once cry once, I hate rebuying parts and selling the old ones at a loss but Ive done it plenty.
