Are you sick of cam threads yet? (I'm narrowed down to two)
2005 Silverado
402 Iron block, 4l80e
Forged crank, cnc rods and wiseco pistons, stock 317 heads, ~9.3 compression ratio, stock truck intake.
Turbo is undecided yet but I am probably going to be running 15+ psi. The engine is almost done and I will run it NA for this year while collecting parts and research to turbo it next winter. The truck has a 4.8 now so I'm not too worried if this setup may not be optimized for natural aspiration for the summer. Which will be the better option? Goal is to be over 700rwp. I still use it as a truck for towing and plan on daily driving it too. What would you choose and why? I'm liking the lower rpm power range on the first cam below.
I'm looking at these two from trick flow:
216/220 114 LSA

220/224 112 LSA

Why is that? I'm not building a full out race truck, just a fast daily with way too much power, lol. Of course as time goes on I will continue working on it and want to go faster and bring in all the supporting mods. That's part of the reason for the forged bottom end, build it now and not worry later.
How does this guy run sub 10's on a stock bottom end 6.0 with a smaller cam than each that I linked? https://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=73567. More boost probably, but that's easy to add.
