Default S475 vs. S480 "T6" LQ4

Looking for some real world experience with these two turbos on an LQ4. How much peak HP would the S475 support. Looking for easy 650-750 whp or maybe more down the road.

Do the s480 for down the road. dvillegt on here has a 370 with the s475 and did go 5.7x's but he just upgraded to a billet 80 I believe. Also there is a guy that has stock lq4 and s480 that put down somewhere in the 9xx's.

Wouldn't the S475 be more efficient around the 700whp mark? More in its sweet spot so to speak.

Just go with the Billet S480 From FI and safe yourself in the long run because you're gonna want more in no time.
If you want one PM me, I can give you a nice deal.

So what you're saying is, if im looking for 750whp I might as well just shoot for 900whp. Because I won't be content with 750. LOL.

Pretty much. The 75 set on kill is capable of Mid 800's rear wheel. But its tongue is hanging out. The cast 80 with the race cover is worth 1000-1100 max effort. Backed off to the 700-800 range that compressor would be way more efficient and have MUCH lower output temps than the 75. It is the one i would suggest goingwith.

The billet 80 is 1300 rwhp capable.... its a bad bitch. Itd be a good match for a 900-1000 hp setup. It would require the 1.58 AR turbine housing option on a 6.0 imo. If you have the extra cash for the upgrade it would be nice but not required.

Plus itll prolly be 3-4 weeks before any are available. The last batch sold out 100% on preorders.... there are none sitting on the shelf waiting at the moment. Jose cant get that wheel cut fast enough.
