Procharger ps1c
Hey guys, i just currently got my Nissan 240sx done with a ls1 with quite a few things done. I planned on single turbo next winter but just came across a good deal on a procharger and might pick it up. But I was wondering if my motor would still be very reliable with a great tune? I know tune is everything! The car will be driven hard tho, Autox, drag, drift and street driven. I'm thinking around 5psi I would make close to 600whp but i don't want to change the cam.
My motor right now consist of:
Stock bottom end
Longtubes
Fast 102 intake
Fast 92 throttle body
Vengeance vrx5 cam
Trick flow 220 heads
42lb injectors
Fast fuel rails
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Gto oil pan
Just a stock rebuilt t56
Texas drivetrain performance stage 3 clutch
Morel lifters
Dual valve springs
Trick flow push rods
Modified rockers
Will I need to get bigger injectors?
Anything else I should upgrade besides rod bolts?

60lbs injectors, a Hotwire kit for the Walbro 255 and possibly a meth kit should get you closer to your goal. Although I'm sure you're aware by now that after 550hp, stock bottom end LS1s become unpredictable even with the safest tune possible....You'll definitely need the meth kit if you intend on pushing the envelope.....

I'm not real familiar with superchargers. I've messed with turbo a lot! And that was my plan, but with all of the exhaust piping it will make it very hard. I also like how the pro charger is self contained and i wont need to run oil lines. I figured that stock bottom end was good to 600 but yesterday I found out that after 550 it's just a time bomb. So some guys said it would be useless to even get the procharger.
