Looking to go FI (D1) what can I use Hey guys, I have a 02 SS. H/C/I car. I want to run a procharger and im just curious what do i have on the car that I can use.
Trex cam, AI 226cc ported 243's, 92 Fast port matched, Got the pistons flycut for clearance for the cam. I knew the CR but id have to look that up. Stage 2 trans, Ram HD clutch, moser 9 with 4.30 gears. Those are the basic parts im running.
I know i need like a 3.70 gear for the rear. Also ive seen someone run the trex cam with a d1 somwhere on here, im sure its on youtube as well. somone that knows more info on that setup would chime in would be great.
I know id probably want to go with a blower cam. Already have one in mind. I know Ill probably need a meth kit , i dont want to run e85 just for the option of running out and no one having it. My main concern is the heads on my car. its a stock bottom end. I just want to run low PSI until I can fund a motor build then crank it up and have fun.
