2001 Trans Am Procharger heating up at idle
2001 Trans Am with a Procharger set up. Overheats at idle with AC on. Everything I've read here says replace the ATI 16 inch puller fan with a 16 inch SPAL high performance fan. Is that enough? I also see sometimes the addition of another 9 inch fan. Is that also a SPAL High performance?
Is that usually enough air to beat the heat? Is it very common to put the pusher fans on the AC condenser?
Any help is appreciated.

If you have puller fans,
make sure they are pulling the air and not pushing.
The stock 16'' ATI fan is garbage. sell it. buy the Spal. since your keeping the a/c buy the 9'' as well.
I personally do not have the condensor in the way anymore so I am thinking since I got the Spal extreme I will have no issues, plus running a better radiator is a plus.
You also need to make sure the air damn under the car is diverting the air up from the ground. That has solved issues for some people. There are countless threads talking about this, but you will find it was a hard issue to solve. It takes a bunch of air flow.
