Default Methanol pre-blower in a TVS setup?

I tried doing a search, and people only seemed to talk about other blowers except the TVS. I'm curious if the meth will strip the coating on it. Eaton made a gen V SC and I know a decent amount of owners spraying meth pre blower with seemingly no ill effect on the coatings(one of them used meth for over 20k). Do the TVS units share the same coating as the Gen V? I forget if it's the Teflon coating or not.

And please, I don't want this thread to turn into a debate About if meth is or is not good power provider, but strictly to find out if it damages/flakes/etc. the coating. Thanks

wont strip the coating, but it will eat up the grease in the needle bearings and cause failure..... don't ask me how I know this

If that's the case, I'll plan to spray meth pre blower then. Thanks guys.

killed a few m62's (needle bearing basically fell out after a few months, granted we were over spinning the hell out of them) and a couple of my buddies chewed up the tvs1320 on the cobalts pre blower spraying. MAybe they changed the type of grease they use now, but the blowers needle bearings would be dry after a few weeks to months. Maybe there was some other issues going on, but it seemed to be mostly the people spraying meth through the blower.

The people spraying meth are usually the ones spinning the blowers to the max- failures. Not because of meth.

We've been running meth for a long time through Maggie's with no failures.
