the ones that came with the motor from Chevrolet

Ive never had a problem with any of them... The larger head bolts work a little better, IIRC some have said the smaller ones came loose. Nothing wrong with doing studs either.

the stainless allen bolts the 1 guy sells on here all the time. forget the name, dm... maybe? i had 1 come loose so i'm debating lock washers or blue thread lock if it happens again. it's a new build though so 1 backing out hasn't got me too worried about it.

arp studs, easy to keep gasket in place and just slide manifold on and dont have to struggle to tighten bolts while holding a heavy as manifold in your hand at the same time

thread lock of any sort will always come out.
YOu either need stock bolts or arp ls1 bolts with 12pt
or stage 8 lock bolts
thats it.

i'll explore the arp route if it happens again then. so far tho in 3 trips to the track and about 400-500 miles on the street, only the 1 came loose and who knows, maybe i never tightened it down enough when it went together but i'm keeping i'll keep an eye on it for a while.
