just finished procharger build and only 3lb of boost
so i finished up my p1sc procharger setup on my 2002 camaro.put it on the dyno and it barly made 4lbs of boost at 6300 rpm. other than that it would be at 3lbs. the boost seems to lag and not come in untill very late on the pull. any idea what would cause this? blower has about 20.000 miles and oil changes have been kept up. i did see some of the fins on the blower have little chips on them but very small chips and very little of them.
car made 482rwhp and 438 torque on a mustang dyno
mods are
224/228 581/588 114 lsa
ls6 intake
pacesetter longtubes
255 walbro fuel pump
44 lb injectors
p1sc with the 3.5 intercoolers
stock 241 heads and bottom end
6lb pully
p.s this blower once had water ran threw it... long story.. what do u guys think the problem is? any help is appreciated thanks

As mentioned, look for signs of belt slip. I assume you were having it tuned on the dyno and they should have a line on the graph for boost. If its not linear, then something is up. Check for belt dust around the pulley assembly and never hurts to look for leaks in the piping. These are easy places to start.

what size pulley are you running , i was running a 6.0 crank and 3.0 headunit pulley and i know i got slip . stock cam and heads was a 6lb pulley but usually made 4. More than likely belt slip . Also when having such low boost the procharger makes almost none down low . It ramps up , higher rpms is higher boost .

Blackbirdws6 yes the Dyno did have a boost graph and it showed mid 3lbs at almost the whole pull
Ramairetransam I know it has a 6lb pulley not sure on what size crank. I'm sure it's whatever comes with the kit new.
Ddnsspoder yea it has the original procharger bypass valve. Would I be able to hear if its venting ? At idle or what should the venting sound like?

Bypass line should be plumbed to the intake so it can reference vacuum. At idle, it should be open so you should hear/feel air coming out of it. It should close when you go WOT, otherwise it will keep venting air. If boost isn't rising with rpm, you likely have belt slip.

Sorry if my question is dumb. So the only way to get rid of belt slip is a new belt? I checked for dust and piping doesn't seem to be leaking. I will check to see if I hear air coming from bypass valve.

seem like good numbers to me.
as mentioned check the belt
check for boost leaks
your head unit sounds shady. chips on the impeller come from one thing, something hitting the impeller which most likely means something got sucked in which is "bad". water being run through it, I am sure that is not recommended either. if your on a stock bottom end you may just wanna chill where you are. your making pretty good power considering. be real curious to know what the number were before the supercharger was added.

Blackbirdws6 ill go ahead and check the tension on the belt later on tonight.
I8urbird well it's a long story on how water got ran threw it. But I'm sure a small rock or two went in. It does have chips on the impeller but I honestly think there too small for it not too work properly.
Thealchemist I'm beginning to think its belt slip. I will ask and see if my tuner/friend has another procharger bypass valve laying around or one that I can at least try and see if that's what it can be
