99 Camaro SS 370-PT88 ***14 psi-10.21 at 144 1.8 60' with video***
Well this is my 2nd go around with the car, it got finished up last fall with the th400 swap and 76gts turbo. It didnt quite make the power i wanted (650whp) so over the winter I added a pt88 and a swapped out the 222/226 cam for a 234/235 cam from Martin at tick. Here is a quick rundown of what's done to the car
370 with weisco pistons and compstar rods
10 to 1 compression
Lsa heads with ls3 valves
Ls3 intake
Tick custom cam
Ofi turbo kit t4
Pt88 with a gt47-88 compressor wheel
4"-3.5" dp going to a 3" slp 2otl with a cutout
Alky control meth kit
Id1000 injectors
Th400 with a transbrake
2800-3000 stall
Mwc 9" spool and 3.50 gears
BMR drag bar
Strange double adjustable coil overs front and rear
17" alumastars
15" rts with 275/60 Hoosier drag radials
Dsx tune
It's about finished, just needs a few minor things done and a tune. Dyno numbers, more pictures and track numbers to come by the end of the week. Hopefully it will go really deep in the 9s and make 850 whp on 93 and meth.
Idle video-
Here is a shot of the 76gts vs the pt88. The 76gts before was choking the motor at 5500 rpms.
More to come......

Very, very nice Corey! The car looks great as well, 17" front runners look sexy!
What is the idle RPM set at? I bet if you could get it to hold steady around 750-800 she'd hit a mean lick like it does at the end of the video.
Should run really well and spool quick with that cam in it. BTW what were the full specs on the cam? I can't remember the lobe center or centerlines.

Thanks, I'm not 100% sure on the idle rpm. I will have to ask. And it starts to sound awesome, an that's through the slp 2otl. Open cut out should sound brutal. I will have to look up the cam card and get back to you.

The combo before would peak at 5500 rpms and fall off hard after that. It would have made a fun stick car, but the t56 blew up after 100 miles. When I went with the th400 I wanted more power up top and I wasn't worried about lag.

One thing I did over the winter was get the headers and crossover ceramic coated to help with the heat. I also had a friend weld in a flex piece to keep the header primary welds from cracking. The ceramic coating really helped keep the temps down. You can touch the headers a few minutes after turning the car off, which is a big difference to how it was last fall.
