Default cam question

i have a 2001 5.3 out of a tahoe. plans are to do a turbo setup and my question is i scored a ls6 cam and valves springs brand new with ls9 head gaskets and head studs and they also came with harland sharp 1.8 shaft mount rockers. my question is will this work for my turbo setup or just put this in my other motor thats gonna be n/a. if it matter i have a tc78 turbonetics turbo. gonna run 15lbs. any help would be app. thanks

Ls6 cam is very popular with the turbo 5.3 setups. Obviously there are better cams but the ls6 is sleeper ish.

ok thanks. do i have to worry about valve to piston clearance with the ls6 cam and the 1.8 rockers

I highly doubt it. You will need good springs though.

the ls6 valve springs arent good enough.
