Default Project turbo s10

Picking up steam on this project. We started over a month ago and it was a mess from sitting for so long we tore it down till it was just a cab on the chassis.

I bought this truck new in high school and it has sat for 10 years now!!! It has 19,500 miles on it.

Body is dropped one inch
5-6 suspension drop
sliders in the rear, caltracs soon
3 way adjustables all around

5.3l JY 85k miles
BEI White Snake cam, and spring package
S78 by Jose at FI about 6 years ago! Great turbo!
JGS 50mm gate
80e Built by John Cappizzi
8.8" 35 spline with spool built by Jay at Ultimate Driveline

Goal is to daily drive it and go run 9s on the foot break after work on Friday nights.

The 5 0 is pretty cool around my area so the exhaust might fly. Super Dave built me blade to close up the exhaust from inside via big choke cable. Keeps it pretty quite if I shut it 90%.

Yes E85, I love this corn stuff with no intercooler.

Going racing with the Impala today, maybe I will get back to the truck on Sun.

Well we turnerd it up to 19psi last night and got the 80lb/hr injectors to 95%. Dyno number was not impressive at 650 but the converter might be eating a lot of power or the junk yard engine is tired. I will give it a few rips today and see which one it is. My "butt dyno" on the street is pretty accurate for quarter mile times.
