Default D1sc procharger guys

Just curious as to what cam you guys are using, boost psi #, 1/4 et, and dyno #'s. I just finished my D1SC install with a front mount and trying to get an appointment with frost for the dyno tune. I org didn't have a blower and installed a comp cams 54-457-11. It specs are 223/231 @ .050 112 lsa.
I've always heard a 112 lsa isn't really good for blower apps because you will get boost blow by. I have a 114 lsa cam in my collection of parts and was wondering if that will be a better choice? Any comments are welcome and appreciated. The motor itself is stock bottom end, heads. I have full long tube exhaust and fast 90mm tb and intake.

You will have to compensate for the cam with a smaller blower pulley, but that cam will still make very good power. If it were me I'd keep it in there and get the car tuned. If you have an eight rib kit you might end up with a 4.13 or 4.25 pulley on the head unit for 8 psi of boost, unless you're up at a higher elevation. Bob

Hey Bob, Thanks for replying. I'am in Baltimore md and made a few wot pulls on the street and hit 9psi of boost at around 6300 rpm's. The current pulley I have on there is the biggest 4.50 (least amount of boost) I also have a 3.70 & 3.55 pulley. I really didn't want to push any more boost until I upgrade to forged internals. The org owner had the 3.70 pulley on there and he made 15 psi with a completely stock engine. I guess the tune is where all the magic happens. I'm thinking the timing and fuel curve are very conservative from the frost mail order tune so it doesn't hurt the engine. I've been e-mailing him back and forth trying to find a date that suits the both of us. BTW, one of the best tuners I have ever dealt with is frost.

That's exactly the goal I have. A 10 sec, pump gas street car, with a/c, full interior and doesn't overheat driving 300 miles. Love your ride too. Looks mean.
