Default 1967 nova turbo build

Been working on this for awhile, 67 nova tci front clip and tci 4 link. 9 inch ford rear end, strange aluminum center section, 4.30 pro gear. 180k mile 4.8 out of a friends Chevy truck. I tore it down cleaned it up. Re used the bearing. Installed new cam bearings. I used a set of 243 heads with sodium filled valves, Brian tooley racing dual valve springs and hardened push rods. Arp rod bolts, eBay head studs, ls9 head gaskets, used cam .623 .623 lift 115 lsa, Vic jr intake and a 750 csu blow thru. Th400 with a brake. Ptc converter. Meth injection.

On 3 performance 76mm, I'm just going to get my feet wet with this turbo and upgrade later on. 15 pounds is what I'm shooting for

First drive, it needs some tuning it's pretty fat but felt great to drive the car. Seems to be making good power the few times I got it into boost

my car now.. its come a ways since these.. I will get some more pictures up soon.
it ran 11.68 at 130 the only one time I ran it at sears point with the combo I bought it with that wasn't really right.. the only thing I did was change from the 4.29 gears to 3.25 for that run.
since then,
changed the ls6 cam to a tick cam, picked up 4psi with the old turbo.
changed the 10" 21blade stator ptc that stalled to 2500 for a 9.5 ptc that goes 3500
changed the china 7681 turbo for a bw 475/87/1.10 t4
csu did e85 conversion to the blow through 750
going straight met instead of 50/50
and the 8.50 cert cage is almost done, actually tomorrow..

Awesome video man, looks like an awesome setup! What duration is that cam at .050? Sounds like something in the high 240's if that's on a 115LSA.

the manifolds are just modified truck with 2.5 extensions to clear the frame.
that cam was to much for the original builder as I could understand, the stall was to low for even the stock cam I got the car with. I have a tick cam in it now that's 111.5+4.5/.634in.620ex/ 215x225@50
what it started like
