I'm not one to weigh in on the routing aspect but that coating looks very nice Martin.

HAH! Martin I was devistated when I found out you were going square port! After all those threads on YB I was ready to call you a traitor .

I think cold side would be fine with a normal coating. If your concerned, blanket the turbine housing since that is where the heat would be at. Are you trying to coat it yourself? Make sure there are no oils any where near it, WD-40 is your worst enemy since it is an aerosol. The metal has to be completely clean or you might end up having it flake or crack.

This build is BAD A$$!

LOL! I need something cheap that flowed a crap ton of air that might just stand a chance of not lifting a head. I am willing to give everything a shot one time.

I absolutely love this Holley EFI. No more 100's of meaningless tables to sift through in HPT or EFILive anymore. Just the stuff that makes the car run and go fast.

Without further ado:

Thats a nice car. Sounds great.
Man, you guys with these Holley EFI systems are killing me. I should have bit the bullet on the dominator instead of going HPT.

Fwiw the car went 5.60@125 on low boost and conservative timing. Converterwas already slipping 15% and we haven't thrown anywhere close to everything at it yet.

It was also flashing to 6200 rpm and never coupled for longer than two tenths of a second.

Car is also 200 pounds overweight coming in at 3450.

We hope with diligent tuning and throwing everything we can at it that it will go 5.16-5.24@134-135 mph. We then hope by getting 200# of weight out of the car we can go 5.08-5.16@136-137.

3420# race weight, 25psi, still working on the tune up. Car is a full 220# over weight, but we think we can squeeze another tenth and 1-2mph out of it and then we will need to put this pig on a diet!

Nice runs for Dean. Glad his car is finally getting down there in the lower half of the 5 second range.

We think there is another 75-100hp in the tune up with more boost. We may end up putting an intercooler on it as well to squeeze some more power out of it. Air temps are 250* right now.

That pass we had the two step set at 3750 and it made 8# on the starting line. With how heavy the car is, we really need to get it leaving around 4000rpm with 10# to get the 60' in the 1.19-1.21 range. Full boost is coming in at 1.2-1.3 seconds and we feel on a good track like we had Saturday we can get that in a tenth or two faster.

That should put us in the 5.25-5.27 range and if we lean on the tune up a little more a 5.22-5.23@133-134 should be all it has in it.
