Default Eboos2 20 psi ?

I´m setting me boost target to 20 psi and on 3500-4800 RPM I have small issue hitting over boost. What is normal save setting for over boost for 20 psi?

I watched youtube video other day on eBoost2, they explained a lot. Search youtube for eBoost2 instructions. They said one setting should be set minimum of 3 psi under max boost. I think that was the gate pressure. If you set it at same as max it won't have time to let wastegate do its thing, resulting in overboost issues.

Depends where your gate is located.
I have my gate starting to break open at 17psi to keep boost in check and not spike for the 20psi setting
but over boost is set at 23psi on mine

I had a problem with over boost too, like stated above I watched the videos on YouTube, turns out I had the gate pressure on the controller set too high.

Let me rephrases, 3 psi under your max boost you want to hit, not the overboost control setting. Can't wait to get my ride going, hopefully within 2 weeks I will be cruising the streets.

I guess there is no correct answer. I have build LS2 witch should be ok for 20 psi and 1000 RWHP. Are this psi spikes dangerous for the motor, let´s say small spike at 22 psi or 25 psi if the overall psi is about 20 psi.

its all relative

if you want to run right at 20psi.

-set overboost to 22, set gate pressure to 18. adjust sensitivity so that boost comes up once and levels off cleanly. done.
