With my set up it should be good for 26-28 psi

So I decided to go air to water. With the crazy hot Summers we have I can't afford to leave anything on the table. My buddy David Farlow(also my fab guy) offered up his PT3000. My air to air intercooler is up for sale on here so check it out if interested.

I also decided on a A2W setup for mine. Thing should be a little cooler now!

For sure. For me it's a no brainier because I am maxing out the turbo and it is really making some heat. I am leaving to much power on the table not getting IAT's as low as possible

Yeah that's why I'm going A2W too. Just trying to decide on the intercooler itself now. I have the tank and pump. Well ordered anyway.

Q was worth 30rwhp for someone we know!

May as well squeeze it all out!

I have considered Q but it doesn't seem as available around here as C. Isn't C's cooling abilities better?

Thanks man! We have the converter out right now on its way to PTC to get tightened up. It was showing a lot of slipping in the log. It should pick up some good et and mph after the change

C is supposedly a better fuel with higher IAT's. I don't think it's better for "cooling" per say, but it works better with higher temps.

Q seems to be less touchy when the IAT's are lower which lends itself to being a good fuel to run with an air to water intercooler. Especially when max power is wanting to be extracted from the combo.

Pulled this from VPs website, they don't recommend Q16 for turbo setups. I know Q16 made my nitrous big block tuneup touchy

-Q16 is highly oxygenated, requiring a 4-6% increase in fuel flow, which will make 3-5% more power than competitive 116 octane fuels. Q16's oxygenation will significantly expand the range of air/fuel ratio acceptability

-C16 is used in turbocharged engines, blown engines and nitrous applications with CRs up to 17:1. Recommended by the top nitrous oxide companies. Spec Fuel for NHRA Comp Eliminator

Entered in our first Ultra race today and first race as a turbo car. We qualified middle pack out of 13 cars. Pretty stoked considering the level of competition we are against. Here is a vid......

That was a 5.50 pass. We are leaving on 8 psi but I have a 1.58 exhaust housing and small cubes so it was making max boost slowly at first, 1.5 seconds. We kept tweaking the tune and got it down to 1.1 seconds. The car is steadily getting faster but the turbo stuff is so new to us that we are just taking baby steps to try an avoid ******* **** up. Hell, well just got the air/fuel in the 11's. We were in the 10's for a while lol
