Default griffin radiator guys, what coolant over flow?

I have the typical griffin radiator stood up. I've had the factory over flow and it works great. Alky control is making my coolant over flow the meth tank so I need a new one.

The factory is a one hose recirculating type. I cant find any cheaper ones like that. They are all kind on like catch cans with a drain. Id like one where the coolant can go back to the radiator when it cools off. Is that necessary or is a basic over flow ok? I need it to be small to.

yes the water needs to return to the radiator. The line needs to be in the bottom of the return tank.

If I can find a pic ill post it up but I just went to a local speed shop and bought an aluminum canister overflow tank and mounted it behind my radiator bracket.

On my first build I used the stock one but on my current build I plan to build one out of 3 or 4" aluminum pipe, I did that for my catch can on my first build.

Ive seen some basic ones at the auto parts stores that are recirculating. I just wonder what the minimum size requirement is. How much coolant actually goes in there on a hot day?
