Default P1sc and new motor ?

I have a 1998 c5 corvette with a stock motor and a P1SC blower . What are some good combos with this blower as in new motor ? 383 ? 415 ? 370 ? I want forged interns so I can boost more and have more RWHP

I have a forged 9.5:1 370 with a P1 and it puts down 580 to the wheels. The blower is maxed out in terms of RPM at this point and the only way to add power is more compression or a fuel change to run more timing. If you are really only going with a P1 with no intention of upgrading in the future a 370 will fit the bill. If you think a F series may be a possible upgrade go with more cubes.

you dont necessarily need more cubes for that blower. if you want a 370-408 I would do at a minimum a d1. you SHOULD skip on over to the f1. itll make the same power with less boost and come in sooner and give you more belt wrap since it will most likely be using a larger pulley. good luck.

Keep in mind that p1 will max out at 725 hp or so. Look into a d1 at a minimum or go to an f1 or larger like an f1x.

I am not sure if he's quite ready for an F1-x without using a 6 bolt block and going to a cog setup or 12 rib. that thing makes 1000rwhp no problems with plenty left in it.

A lot of these are just guestimates I have based off of countless research of procharged cars. Some can vary depending on fuel and compression and of course overall setup.

A P1 might make 650.

A D1SC can make 700-750 or more depending on the setup

An F1-A usually is good for 800-860rwhp.

F1-C 900rwhp

F1-R---1000 or a little over.

F1-X -----1200-1300 or more.

If you ordered the ProCharger kit complete with the tune, you couldn't of ordered it with it upgraded to a D-1SC. The D-1SC can only be ordered with the "tuner" kit, which doesn't come with the injectors or tune.

The P-1SC can't be upgraded into an F-1A, they are two totally different blowers. Bob

Just upgrade the blower. D1SC here on a 376 (LS3) making almost 750 to the wheels and the blower has a lot left in it still.

$1399.99 and if you have a six rib pulley set-up you're going to want to swap over to the eight rib and the required balancer, shown here. http://shop.brutespeed.com/ATI-2GP11...-2GP115-08.htm http://shop.brutespeed.com/ATI-Perfo...ATI-917345.htm Bob
