Default Billy Briggs-engine break in procedure

Install new engine-check
top up fluids-check
add fuel-check
fire it up-check
look for leaks-check
tighten belt-check

All good-then go WOT to 7400 rpm and feed it 26 psi.

I didn't quite go to 7400 on my break in, but did just like you did. Get the fluids in it, prime the fuel pumps, check for leaks, start her up, no leaks, cruise around for 2-5 minutes to get things up to temp, then start doing 1500-4000rpm wot hits on back roads. After 25 miles or so of that, swap the break-in oil and check the filter. All good, swap oil after 200 miles, then I was golden.

What are the specs on the motor? 364 or 402? Sounds killer.

Car Sounds good!!

Our break in was..... burn out then 400shot.
Next time was ... burn out then 16lbs boost.
Soon to come ... burn out then 25lbs boost.

That is pretty much how we break in our motors. Startup, hammer. Never a motor issue. LOL
