[QUOTE=On 3 Performance;17767118]We are working on the site now with someone so hoping to get it rolling in the next month or so. I will be trying to get video together soon but most of my has been devoted to 3 cars in the shop right now.

We have the truck tuned with hp, it was done by a local independent tuner/friend. It has the maf deleted and SD tuned (2bar map).

do you have more information about deleting the MAF?

Sweet, the tuner I am taking it to recommends keeping the MAF. Have you had any issues with removing the MAF?

no but my efi doesn't even have a provision for using a maf.
a good tuner can get it right without it. using a speed density tune.

I know it was asked on the first page, but does this setup work on a 4x4?

yes we installed it on a 2001 2500 hd hot side fits good but the intercooler takes some work . the hd bumper brackets are much bigger and need quite a bit of cutting to fit .

the 2500 hd we used a 76/65 it works pretty good and is a good match for a stock truck with a lower rpm power range pulls good to around 5000 rpm if you want a little more the 78/75 will make a bit more or more importantly less back pressure. the 78/75 seems to carry up into the high 5000 rpm range on a stock 6.0 with ls6 valve springs only. both are good spooling turbo for truck apps from what ive seen first hand.

my brothers 2003 reg cab short bed has the 78/75 and we have ran 11.44 at 123 mph on a stock 6.0 with 187000 miles on about 14# boost. last weekend. at around 4300lbs. shifting under 5400 rpm.

Installed this kit on my 4x4 '06 Vortec max (lq9) last year. Pushed the boost to 10 psi, put down 503hp to the wheels on the dyno. Been working great for me 8,000 miles strong......daily driver.

Just picked up a RCSB 4.8L, looks like one of these kits will be perfect for it. I know a bigger pump and injectors are a must. But anything else that I should look into doing? What size turbo should I go with?

I had a Billet wheel 76MM in my mustang with a 5.3. I think I would like something that spools a little faster than that did.

FYI with on3 silverado kit.

Manifolds cracked after 1 year. No warranty coverage if you guys use heat wrap on them. Just saying. Half a wheel barrow of cash to replace them. Truck has not been driven in ice, snow, salt or bad weather either that would hold moisture. It is in dry kansas area with low humidity.

Do you really think that is unfair?

It's not uncommon for the manifold on any kit to develop small cracks over time. Just weld them up and go on.

Any updates from users of these kits?

Issues?
Track times?
Dyno Numbers?
Daily Drivability Issues?

Do yourself a favor and buy a KB or Trick kit.
