Review 5.3 Speed-Pro Hyperuetectic Pistons
Alright has anyone tried Hyperuetectic pistons in their forced induction applications? I'm sure everyone is tired of 5.3 builds, questions, and comments but as we know not many off the shelf options on these small cube applications. Here's the link to the ones I'm considering:

I agree with you on the I want forged, but $700.00 for wisecos is a stretch for me...that's 2 motors if you shop around around a little. Would you have any idea on max effort for these pistons or maybe a safe range? It's primarily a street car looking to push around 10psi at the manifold, and hoping for 500 rwhp...not contradicting your statement as I completely agree but just from a budget standpoint?

Turbo Buick community has proven time and again the fed mogul/sealed power hyper pistons are tough. Pleanty of guys pushing them to 600whp levels at 30+lbs of boost on 3.8 and 4.1 liter buicks.
I'd bet those hypers are stronger than the OEM piston, I wouldn't be worried about leaning on them pretty hard. The OEM piston has proven itself to 800+whp. If you want more than that, I think you should give them a try. They look physically beefier above the top ringland. From what I've read/seen the rods are the weakest link. Once they bend it takes the ringlands out. Then people blame the piston. Try a 2005+ rod with floating hyper piston and get back to us...

The guys with the stock piston suggestions I agree there plus they are cheap and readily available. But my block is in need of about a a .020 overbore so that's where I found the issue. I think forcefed86 sees what I'm trying to do. I will set up a set of floating hypers and let you guys know how long it lives...I don't see the point of throwing $500 dollar pistons on a $200 dollar bottom end... again just looking for opinions and trial and error. Thanks fr the responses and input keep em coming
