local 1/8 mile legalized street racing took place up here in duluth, mn this weekend on garfield ave and 4 turbo lsx cars were here. two in which were racing but the other two were just parked in the show. i didnt get a chance to talk to any of the owners but i was able to snap a few pics of each car.

turbo lsx cutlass. a2w intercooler, meth, t6 turbo, auto, assuming hes running ice box in the trunk due to no heat exchanger for the intercooler. did not race this weekend.





turbo lsx trans am. a2a ic, nitrous, garrett t6 turbo, auto. really impressed how much stuff is packed in that engine bay. first turbo fbody i ever seen. did not race this weekend.





heres a fox that was racing with a t4 turbo on a carbed 5.3. non intercooled, auto, sounded like he was spooling off the trans brake and 2 step but not positive.





and heres a falcon that won his class againts a purple rat rod that hauled ***. t6 turbo, non intercooled, fuel injection, no meth, guessing hes running e85. really woke up once that turbo spooled.





just thought i would share this with you guys. was awesome to see some more turbo ls cars in my area because everyone and their brother around here has big blocks and small blocks. its funny how many of the older crowd doesnt know anything about these cars. i was by the cutlass today and had to explain to an old man what his a2w intercooler was and how it worked haha. enjoy

That explains why they had helmets and laptops with. Figured they knew eachother cause they parked next to eachother every day. Wish i could have seen them race. Do they have any vids on youtube?

Heres a third matte black Falcon with a turbo ls engine with a crinkle in the passenger fender. We should see if we can get them all together and see which is fastest.
