Need wastegate spring with CO2?
Do I need to run a spring in the wastegate if I am controlling with electronic boost controller and CO2?
If so, why?
My thoughts are the pressure from the co2 will keep it closed in vacuum, 1psi and up.
Does it matter if the car is street driven mostly?
Thanks!

yes i would throw in a spring to make sure everything stays where it should, even if its a 3 psi spring. otherwise with the boost controller off it will leak exhaust like crazy.

So it won't make any boost if I don't want it to
Can really fuxk with people
Here is one vid just with activation on or off. Wot in high gear
Second vid is go wot and then have the ams bring boost in crazy slow to show the control

I run a boost leash controller, instructions say a 3lbs or better yet nothing. I called he said to run the 3lbs or any really light spring. I ran the 3lbs with no issues.
