Default turbo drag car. do I need coolent cross over tubes?

Building an all out turbo 6 liter race car. Can I run block offs or do I have to run the coolent cross over under the intake?

most definitely. I would never not run them, especially on a drag setup. Unless you arent running coolant of course

I've never run the crossover tubes. On any of my turbo cars. I have a c5 corvette with a ttix kit doesn't have them and my turbo fairmont doesn't either and both cars are driven to from the track a hour away . Some people say run em some don't I'm just going by my experience . I don't.

Its simple, the relieve possible air/steam pockets from the top of the heads. Why not run them? There are so many things to think and worry about when drag racing. Why add one that costs nothing to run? They came factory on all 4 corners on the pre ls6 intake ls1. Just get those, you shave down your ls6 intake and put them on. Or there are some kits you can buy to run them on different intakes.

How shitty would that be if you skipped such a simple step in a race car and it cost you a big race or blown motor.

I ran this piece off of a 5.3/6.0 truck motor - it was like 20.00 shipped. How can you go wrong. I'd run it regardless - too cheap not to, even if you have to fab something up.
