Default 62 Chevy II LS3 Maggy install suggestions???

Looking for some suggestions and any input from all you seasoned pros.... Have a fresh LS3 with 3000 miles in a 62 Nova with a T-56. Has largest camshaft Texas Speed had with factory head/piston last summer (before I was gonna supercharge it). Just bought a magnuson TVS2300 jackshaft kit with injectors. Car has all TCI pro touring front and rear suspension with ford 9" and 3.70 gear. TCI's long tube LS headers that are 1 7/8" and all 3" exhaust. I used a Mast Motorsports fuel pump and line kit that was advertised as a 750hp kit. Where would you guys suggest starting at for pulley size and boost number to make all I can safely and not have to haul 5 hours round trip to dyno tune again later? I'm thinking I'd like to do whatever I need to do to make like 10 lbs and probably be in the 600 whp range. Car currently makes just shy of 450. Do I need different injectors than what come with the kit to do this safely?? Thanks for any help!!!!

What is the pulley setup on the rear of your blower? Under, over, or direct drive? You most likely have two 3.25" pulleys or a 3" driving a 3.49.

If that's the case, it's 1:1 on the rears. To get where you want to be, you'll need a 3.2ish front pulley. That's going to invite belt slip. Better option is to get a set of overdriven rear pulleys with a 3.8" front. You'll be around 10 to 11 psi unless the cam you're using is stupid huge. In an ls3 m6 vette with mild blower cam, it's mid to upper 600's at the wheels. Add meth and it's 700 wheel.

Interesting project. I have a gorgeous '69 Camaro that's begging for a similar setup. Get 'er done and let me know how you did it

How long does a stock bottom end LS3 handle that power level? What octane is necessary at 10lbs on stock compression ratio?

My vette has been running on the stock long block for 4.5 years and maybe 30K miles. 650 rwhp on a little over 9psi. If you have a good fueling system and good tune, the LS3 motor will handle lots of abuse. Mine is a 3.3" front with 1:1 rears. It's been down the drag stip lots of times and on a road course a few too.

I've heard the Camaro Maggie system is a little different than mine and more prone to belt slip with the smaller drive pulleys. I do know the Camaro accessory drive is different than the vettes on the same LS3 motor. That overdriven rear setup would be the ticket on a Camaro system. If I ever want to up the boost on mine, I'll do the overdriven rig too.
